One of the main challenges in Faizul Mawaidil Burhaniyah is to deliver thaali to mumineen’s homes. It has various challenges which increase if the number of thaali increases. Many mawaze have devised effective way to counter the challenges. One such mauze is Jamnagar which delivers over 900 thaalis everyday. This is how they have tackled various distribution problems by devising an effective distribution system.
- There are 10 mohallahs in which thaali is delivered. All 10 mohallahs have been allocated different colors, and stickers of their respective mohallah have been pasted on their thaalis.
- 915 homes have been allocated serial numbers as per distribution route.
- Serial number’s stickers have also been pasted on the entrance of the homes.
- Specially designed tags as per serial numbers have been pasted on thaalis so thaali delivered to every home is theirs and not someone else’s.
- Along with serial number every thaali is also tagged with A and B series. One day in entire mauze A series thaalis is delivered and thaali of B series is recovered from homes. Next day B series thaali is delivered and A is collected from homes. If anyone does not want thaali on a particular day he should not give the thaali of that series. If there is no thaali present while filling, thaali will not be delivered.
- To avoid putting thaali on the floor and at place where we keep our shoes, thaali boxes have been made. Members will go to houses for installation of the boxes. Boxes have been made at a workshop of one of the FMB members
This system can help counter few issues which are present:
- Zoning delivery routes helps manage distribution properly. Time efficiency while delivering can also be achieved.
- Many people complain that thaalis coming to their home are either damaged or not cleaned properly. If every thaali is delivered everyday to same home, mumineen will take more care in handling and cleaning of thaalis.
- As FMB goes every day, there is a general problem of food being wasted when no one is home to eat. It is difficult for some to utilize food the next day as thaali will be coming that day as well. This results in piling up of food which eventually leads to wastage. The simple solution is to not give thaali for filling which saves mumineen from hassle of conveying that they donot want thaali and members for checking who has requested that they donot want thaali on a particular day. Mistakes of delivering thaali unintentionally when not required can also be tackled by this method.
If convenient many members can use this system in their mauze for an effective delivery system.
