In the light of Murasalaat, detailing “Catering Guidelines and Regulations” in which it was mentioned that it is responsibility of khidmat guzaars, especially caterers to ensure that food cooked in Faizul Mawaidil Burhaniyah and other Niyaaz jaman is hygienic, a workshop was held on 12th August in (Taheri Mohallah) in which light was shed on
“Importance of Hygiene for Improving Taste and Quality”
All the 16 mohallahs of Karachi participated in this workshop which was conducted in 3 sessions.
First two sections were regarding brief introduction on two points
- Kitchen hygiene and safety
- Taste and quality
Third section was a live cook, in which two recipes “Bhindi Tarkari” and “Chicken Qorma” was made in front of the audience.
Procurement and operation members of the mohallahs were invited in the workshop, along with the caterers, cooks and their respective helpers.
