Caterer’s Ijtema in Ujjain and Ahmedabad

During the Safar Mubarak of Huzurala TUS towards Ujjain and Ahmedabad, 2 Caterer’s Ijtema were conducted.

The Ijtema was based on 6 points in the light of Bayaan Mubarak Huzurala TUS.

 

Bayaan Mubarak 1:

In the light of this Bayaan Mubarak the Policy of One Kharaas and One Mithaas was discussed and is correlation with Food Wastage. Also loopholes in the system were identified and the system of approving menu was discussed. The topic concluded with the benefit of this system.

 

Bayaan Mubarak 2:

Various aspects of hygiene were discussed in this topic, such as cleaning of utensils, proper usage of cutlery tools while cooking, personal hygiene of every cook and helper involved, the clothing of everyone involved and food hygiene. The topic also included kitchen hygiene and 4 c’s of hygiene; Cooking, Cleaning, Chilling and Cross Contamination.

 

Bayaan Mubarak 3:

This topic covered The Usage of Proper Ingredients Especially Checking for Halaal and Haraam. Haraam ingredients were identified and the ingredients which should be avoided were discussed. Also healthy alternatives for many daily ingredients were also conveyed.

 

Bayaan Mubarak 4:

In the light of this Bayaan Mubarak Nutrition and Menu Planning was discussed. The nutritional value in a thaal was discussed, giving emphasis towards how to create a menu, and the holistic nature of menus prepared from Vazarat Office.

 

Bayaan Mubarak 5:

Raw Materials and Preparation was discussed in the light of Bayaan Mubarak. How to purchase raw materials, when to purchase, importance of clean water in preparation, the condition of preparation area, tools used in preparation area and timing of preparation was discussed. The topic also covered the importance of storage facility.

 

Bayaan Mubarak 6:

This topic covered Over Pricing and Hidden Costs during cooking. The focus was to discuss the usage of low quality ingredients which should not be done. Only high quality materials should be used. Also wastage on decorations and heavy garnishing should be avoided. Also no mumin should be charged any hidden costs by any caterer.

On Friday 22nd Jamadil Ukhra 1439H – 9th March 2018, 1st Ijtema took place in Ujjain during the Safar Mubarak of Huzurala TUS in which 150 caterers partook.

On Tuesday 26th Jamadil Ukhra 1439H – 13th March 2018, 2nd Ijtema took place in Ahmedabad during the Safar Mubarak of Huzurala TUS in which 350 caterers participated.

Various caterers from Mumbai were invited to conduct the seminar along with Qasr-e-Aali Sahebo and Khidmat Guzaar of Faizul Mawaidil Burhaniyah – Vazarat Office.

Ahmedabad Ijtema was also presided by Al-Syed Al-Ajal Shehzada Taha BS Najmuddin DM where Shehzada Sahab DM enlightened the attendees towards attaining the khushi of Huzurala TUS.
